Wm. "Bud" Roe Endorsement of Courtney Billups
I ran for County Commissioner in district #1 in the Republican primary because I felt the incumbent did not represent the interests of the taxpayers of Queen Anne’s County. I lost, in a very close race by ( 33 votes ) less than 1% of the votes cast. I would like to thank all those that supported my campaign and pledge that I will continue to work towards making our wonderful county even better.
Mr. Cupani, the incumbent commissioner, is no better today than he was yesterday. On the other hand Mr. Courtney Billups, who I got to know during the primary campaign, shows that he genuinely cares about the County and the Citizens. I urge all people that believe as I to vote for Courtney Billups on November 7th. Now is the time to end the rule of special interest groups and return the County to the taxpayers.
